Czech Team

BARBORA VRÁNKOVÁ

Barbora Vránková (born July 29, 2006) is a three-time senior Czech national champion. With these titles, she built on her successful junior career, during which she also won the national championships. For this season, she and her team selected Clouds and The Mind on the (Re)Wind by Ezio Bosso for her short program. Her free skating is set to a selection of music from the Titanic movie — Rose, Hard to Starboard, including the famous My Heart Will Go On by Céline Dion.

ANNA VALESI / MARTIN BIDAŘ

Anna Valesi (born June 9, 2002) and Martin Bidař (born February 24, 1999) teamed up at the end of 2024 and have represented the Czech Republic together since 2025. At their first European Championships together this year in Sheffield, Anna and Martin finished 9th, securing two entries for the Czech Republic in this category for the next championship. For this season, they chose Clair de lune by Claude Debussy for their short program, while their free skating is set to music from the musical Notre Dame de Paris by Riccardo Cocciante.

GEORGII RESHTENKO

Georgii Reshtenko (born December 19, 2002) moved to Prague with his family at the age of fifteen and has represented the Czech Republic since the 2018/19 season. In January at the ISU Figure Skating European Championships 2026 in Sheffield, he won the bronze medal — the first European medal for the Czech Republic in 13 years. For the 2025/26 season, Georgii’s short program is set to Scratch (feat. Duomo), Shadow Hunter, and Moriarty (feat. Sebastian Pecznik & Duomo) by Power-Haus. His free skating features music from the film Kingsman: The Secret Service — specifically Manners Maketh Man, Valentine, and Finale by Henry Jackman and Matthew Margeson. Both programs are choreographed by Adam Solya, one of the most sought-after choreographers in contemporary figure skating.

KATEŘINA MRÁZKOVÁ / DANIEL MRÁZEK

Kateřina Mrázková (born August 25, 2006) and Daniel Mrázek (born May 15, 2003) came to public attention primarily thanks to their title of World Junior Champions in 2023, becoming the first Czech ice dance team ever to win this title. For this season, they and their team selected music by AC/DC and One Two by AI (of 90s style Bon Jovi) for their rhythm dance, while their free dance is set to the Spanish Malagueña by Ernesto Lecuona. Both programs are choreographed by their coach Matteo Zanni together with Denis Lodola and Garett Smith.

NATÁLIE TASCHLEROVÁ / FILIP TASCHLER

Siblings Natálie (born 9 December 2001) and Filip (born 29 August 1999) Taschler have been among the main pillars of Czech ice dance for many years. They have competed together as a couple since the junior categories, where they gained international attention, among other achievements, by winning the bronze medal at the ISU Junior Grand Prix in the USA in 2019. After moving up to the senior category, they have repeatedly represented the Czech Republic at the ISU Figure Skating European Championships, where their best result to date is 6th place in 2023, and at the ISU Figure Skating World Championships, where they finished 8th in the same year. At the championships in Prague, they will perform a Latin rhythm dance to music by Jennifer Lopez and Enrique Iglesias, while their free dance is set to the soundtrack from the film The Matrix. Both programs are choreographed by Massimo Scali.
